This website is operated by The Little Cleaner & Co. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Little Cleaner & Co. We offer this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By booking our services and/or purchasing products from us, you therefore adhere to our Terms of Service. These Terms of Service apply to all customers of The Little Cleaner & Co. 

 

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before booking a service with us. By accessing or using any part of this site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access this website or use any of our services.

Before booking a clean with us, we will organise to meet you and have a look at your property. This way we can see if we are able to service your clean based on your requirements and give you an accurate onsite quote. The number of hours will be determined by the service you require, the tasks you would like completed as well as the size and condition of your home. Your initial clean may take longer than expected as your cleaner needs time to get used to the property and thoroughly complete the clean at a spring cleaning standard.

 

Once your initial spring clean has been completed, we will give you another quote for your regular clean and allocate a certain number of hours based on your requests. Any changes or additions to your service that were not included in your original quote must be organised prior to the commencement of your clean with our office.

 

Your cleaner will not complete extra duties at your request while they are at your clean for a number of reasons; it may be charged at a different rate, they may not be equipped to do so, they may not be covered by insurance to do so, it may be a service that we do not provide or they may not have time.

minimum booking times

Each service requires a minimum number of hours for our cleaners to able to provide a certain standard of cleaning. Please understand that booking times fewer than two hours are not profitable for our cleaners.

Regular Clean: 2 hours

Spring Clean: 3 hours

Home Organisation: 2 hours

BUILDERS CLEAN: 3 hours

cleaning time frames

For our cleaners to be able to deliver a high standard of cleaning, they need a certain amount of time to be able to complete particular jobs. Please keep this in mind when booking your clean. If you are on a budget, choose a few jobs that are most important to you to fit within your booking time. These time frames will vary depending on the size and condition of your home. The minimum time frames for regular cleans completed either weekly or fortnightly by us are as follows:

full bathroom: 30 minutes

powder room: 15 minutes

kitchen: 30 minutes

dusting: 30 minutes

vacuuming: 30 minutes

mopping: 30 minutes

Please note that these time frames are just a guide and are at least doubled when; our cleaners attend your initial spring clean, the home is in poor condition or the internal property is over 300 square metres. 

services and pricing

Regular Clean $40.70 p/h

Cleans that are completed frequently; either weekly or fortnightly. This includes surface cleaning and standard house cleaning duties such as bathrooms, kitchen, dusting, external cupboards, vacuuming and mopping floors.

Spring Clean & home orGAnisation $51.70 p/h 

Once off cleaning tasks that require specialised cleaning such as windows, walls, skirting boards, ceiling fans, blinds and outdoor areas or the re-organising and cleaning of internal cupboards or shelves. This also includes any regular cleaning duties that haven't been cleaned by us in the past fortnight including all initial cleans.

 

Builders Clean $62.70 p/h

Newly built properties or developments that require the removal of fine builders dust throughout the property.

oven cleaning $117.70 p/h

Not included in regular kitchen cleaning unless specified. 

 

If you would like to book a clean including some Regular Cleaning tasks and other Spring Cleaning or Home Organising tasks the hours will be priced at different rates depending on the tasks completed during the clean. 

services we do not provide

 

Please understand that we are professional cleaners and there are some services that we do not provide. This includes housekeeping services such as; washing laundry or linen, changing beds, ironing, washing large amounts of dishes, unstacking dishwashers and moving wheelie bins. Our cleaners are also not accountable for cleaning pet waste, heavy stain removal, heavy mould removal, steam carpet cleaning, moving heavy furniture or cleaning drains.

accessing your property

 

The details of how to access your property must be outlined in the booking process. It is up to you if you would like to leave a key out for your cleaner, meet them before the clean to arrange a spare key or greet them on the day. If your cleaner cannot access your home on the day of the clean, they will contact you and ask for your assistance. As this is an inconvenience to our cleaners please understand that this time will be inclusive of your allocated booking. If you live in an inner city area with parking restrictions, you must provide alternative parking for your cleaner, as incurring parking fines is counterproductive. 

payment policy

We will send you an invoice once your clean has been completed with details for bank transfer when you book a regular recurring service with us. We expect the outstanding amount to be paid on the day your clean was completed. If the amount is not paid before your following clean or we frequently have to remind you of late payments, we have the right to discontinue our services. If you are a first time client booking a spring clean we will give you an onsite quote, and require payment to be made in full before the arrival of our cleaners otherwise we will not attend your clean.

Hoarding & Hazardous conditions policy

If your property requires assistance that is beyond the description of our business, our cleaners have the right to withdraw their services. This includes properties that are deemed to be a health risk due to dirt or bacteria, and/or properties that are subject to hoarding tendencies. In this case, the customer will be charged with cancellation costs equivalent to the total value of the booking as a result of any losses incurred from potential client bookings.

Homes with pets

If you have any pets at your home, we will not take responsibility for them. Please make sure that any animals at the property are contained when your cleaner arrives, especially if they are prone to running away or being aggressive. In regards to pets that shed a considerable amount of hair, please keep in mind that we can only clean the property to the best of our ability in the parameters of either the regular or spring cleaning services. Pet hair builds up on furniture, skirting boards and can also be very difficult to remove from carpets. We are not at fault for any mess your pets make after your cleaner has finished cleaning certain areas of your home. This is another reason we suggest keeping your pets outside until the clean is completed. We do not clean pet waste as part of any of our cleaning services.

Cancellation policy

All cancellations or changes must be made more than 24 hours prior to the service booking time. If a clean is cancelled within the 24 hour period before the clean is scheduled to begin, the customer will be charged with cancellation costs equivalent to the total value of the booking. Repeated cancellations or changes will cause a disruption in our services and may result in a cancellation of your service altogether at any time. 

 

If there are any changes such as power or water outage, broken cleaning equipment or other trades working within the home, this must be outlined prior to your clean so that we can make arrangements to fill the allocated booking time. If your cleaner arrives to your home and is unable to work around any obstacles that may prohibit them from completing the clean you will still be charged with the total booking cost.
